These terms apply to junk removal, debris hauling and cleanout services provided by Good Hands Hauling in Winter Haven and Polk County, Florida. By booking a job with us, you agree to them.
Quotes
Send us a photo and we will give you a price, usually within about 15 minutes during business hours. A photo quote is an estimate based on what we can see. If the actual job is materially larger than the photo showed — more volume, heavier material, longer carry, or items that require special handling — we will tell you the revised price before we load anything. You are free to decline at that point at no charge.
No surprises. We do not add charges after a job is complete. The price you accept is the price you pay.
Scheduling
Same-day service depends on truck availability. If we cannot make a window we have promised, we will call you — we would rather move you than leave you waiting. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.
What we haul
Furniture, appliances, household junk, garage and shed contents, yard and storm debris, renovation and construction debris, sheds, hot tubs, playsets, and whole-house or estate cleanouts.
What we cannot take
By law and by disposal-site rules, we cannot load or transport:
- Paint, solvents, chemicals and other liquids
- Hazardous or flammable materials
- Asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material
- Medical or biological waste
Polk County's household hazardous waste facility accepts these items from residents at no charge, and we will tell you exactly where to take them. Certain items carry a disposal surcharge, which we will always quote up front: refrigerators and air conditioners (refrigerant), mattresses, tires, and older tube televisions.
Access and property
You confirm that you own the items being removed, or have permission to have them removed. Please make sure we can reach the items and park nearby. We protect doorways and floors and sweep the space before we leave. If something is damaged because of our work, tell us right away and we will make it right.
Items are not recoverable
Once items leave your property they go to a disposal site or to donation and cannot be retrieved. Please check for anything valuable, sentimental or important before we load — we will always ask, but the final look is yours.
Donation
Usable goods are donated where we can, and we will bring you the donation receipt when one is issued. Donation is not guaranteed; it depends on condition and what local charities are accepting.
Photographs
We may take before-and-after photos to document our work and for marketing. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and that is the end of it.
Payment
Payment is due when the job is complete unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Commercial and recurring accounts may be invoiced.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number we may text you about your quote, scheduling and your job. Promotional messages are sent only if you separately opt in. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
